Practical training

44A007E Client-oriented work and professional analysis, 9 credits

Objective of the course: Students become familiar with professional work in the field and develop their own professional basic skills in client work. Students are able to assess their professional skill, client work and own professional growth.

Learning methods of the course: Guided practice in different client service tasks in the professional field. At the end of the practice students make a written professional analysis, in which they assess their professional preparedness and their own learning. Professional analyses are treated in a seminar.

Literature and other materials:   Literature connected with professional analysis.

Assessment: Practice passed/failed. Evaluation of professional analysis on the scale from 1 to 5.

Other: The objectives of the practice and instructions for professional analysis are specified before practice.

44A011E Organization-oriented work and professional analysis, 18 credits

Objective of the course: Student deepens professional skill by getting acquainted with the activity of a working community and organization in practice and with the work and tasks of a manager. Student learns to know the essential norms directing the activity of an organization and administrative policy. Student becomes prepared to assess and develops own activity as member and developer of a working community. Student recognizes the central contents in the tasks of a manager or a manager and is able to evaluate own skills to work with these tasks.

Learning methods of the course: Guided practice, evaluation conversation, professional analysis and a seminar for professional analysis.

Literature and other materials: Source literature according to the theme of the professional analysis.

Assessment: Practice passed/failed. Evaluation of professional analysis on the scale from 1 to 5.

44S034E Specialized practice and professional analysis, 18 credits

Objective of the course:   Student deepens knowledge in methods and contents in relation to the theoretic and professional readiness in the practice. Student deepens knowledge and analyzes own professional skill in profession analysis.

Learning methods of the course: Guided practice, evaluation conversation, professional analysis and profession analysis seminar. Lectures, learning assignments, exam.

Literature and other materials: Written material according to the theme used in profession analysis.

Assessment: Practice passed/failed. Evaluation of the profession analysis on the scale from 1 to 5.

Other:  The objectives of the practice will be specified at the beginning of the period.
